Rust Job: Senior Software Engineer (Java) for Web3

As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the backend systems that power their cloud-based platform. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and ensure that the software developed is scalable, maintainable, and performant.

What will you do:

• Develop and maintain backend systems, including console applications, Linux daemons, NT services, data processing applications, and backend services for web applications.

• Integrate with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate work with remote teams.

• Take responsibility for the software developed, including delivery and maintenance.

• Design and implement solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and performant.

• Write efficient and clean code that adheres to best practices.

What you should know:

• At least 5 years of experience in software development with Java technologies.

• Knowledge of Scala or Rust (or other functional programming languages)

• Solid understanding of complex distributed systems

• Experience with databases, both RDBMS and NoSQL, with a preference for experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Solr, and Elasticsearch.

• Knowledge of Cryptography and Security.

• Experience in handling large volumes of data efficiently.

• Familiarity with Unix shells and command-line tools.

• Prior experience with agile development methodologies.

• Experience with Kubernetes or Docker is a plus.

• Understanding of automated testing, and deployments is a plus.

• Fluent in English.
