Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of a Web Applications Developer I to join our exceptional team. This is a professional, responsible position that plays an integral role in providing expertise and College-wide consulting services in the analysis, development, and delivery of enterprise web applications and processes. Responsibilities for this position include application development, programming, administration, and maintenance of the College web applications.

This position is remote work friendly and can be in-person, hybrid, or fully remote, however you must be a permanent resident of Florida for the duration of your employment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in Computer Information Systems or a similar Information Technology program. Appropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with modern frontend languages and frameworks used in web applications such as HTML, CSS (SASS, SCSS), and JavaScript (React, Vue.js).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with modern backend languages and frameworks used in web applications such as PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter), JavaScript (Node.js), Python (Django, Flask), or Rust (Actix Web, Rocket).

Salary: $37,000.00 - 40,999.00
